Sulfasalazine prescription
Been told on 27 December hubby needs sulfasalazine to try and control his pain already taking methotrexate can't speak to nurse until 16 January to discuss drug. Is this normal to wait so long just to get medicines thanks

Hello @Gracieerica123 and welcome to the Community.
Unfortunately Christmas causes some delays and also differing authorities have different wait times. You could try calling early in the New Year to see if you can get bumped up the list. In the meantime I've put some info below which might be of use to you.

Oh yes it can be this long. What we perceive as urgent often doesn't seem to be treated the same by the medical profession does it?
Now they should all be back at work I would start actively chasing.
