To the people who have had joint replacements were you told about post implant infections which can happen yrs after the surgery?

With a higher risk to those on dmards and biologics

Have any of you experience this and if so what was your outcome

So far only 1 person contacted me saying they were not told they can develop infection yrs after the joint implant ( incase your thinking I meant another kind lol)

Surprising how many surgeons and rheumatologist don't inform patients this can happen
