Replacement knee

I am now year on from having my left knee replaced and am gradually feeling the benefit. It took a while to heal as the would became infected and as a result of then having to wear a splint my lower back became very painful.
However with physio and exercises I’m in much less pain.
But the tendon down the left hand side of the knee is taking its time to heal…physio says scar tissue can take anything up to 18 months to settle down so not worried although it is painful when I keep it bent for too long.
The knee feels very strong though and I even managed to climb a couple of short’ish hills during the summer,

Well done. Keep up the physio. It makes all the difference.
