Margaret Hills diet
Hi
ne and hands. I am following the Margaret Hills diet advice...only been on it for 2 weeks , have lost 3 kgs (prob due to cutting out wine, have to admit used it as a pain killer and a comfort blanket.)
No problems following the diet but would love to know who has had a good outcome by following it...
Many thanks xx

Crikey! I was amazed to find that, not only is this still on the go, but her daughters have now made a big industry of it. I read the book in the "70s, swallowed the cider vinegar and continued to get worse.
Try it if you wish. But, if you're on DMARDS for an inflammatory form of arthritis, keep taking the meds.
Here are some former threads on it. https://community.versusarthritis.org/discussion/16561/margaret-hills-diet?utm_source=community-search&utm_medium=organic-search&utm_term=margaret+hills+diet
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hello @Andalucia and welcome.
It might be worth having a look at
and
As with most of the diets and supplements whilst they may work for some they do not always work for others so by all means try it and if it works for you then great.
Best wishes
Peter

hi @Andalucia
I too started the Margaret hills diet at end of March 2024 as a friend said their friend had amazing results. I should say I also moved house on 25/3/24. I haven’t had any improvement so far but that could be the stress of moving and also the physical effort. I have experienced a slight flare up and my hands are a bit sore. However, it does mention in the book that initially you can have some joint pain whilst chrystals are being broken down and moving out of your system so it could be that?
As you are a month ahead of me, can I ask if it’s working for you?
thanks

There is only one diet that works, eat less!
I eat what I want (not as much as I used too) I drink wine (less than I used to) I also eat chocolate( but less) I do drink more water) and now I’m 16 stone and a few pounds rather than 18.5. Took me a long while to convince myself but I have and it works.
