Recent diagnosis of osteoarthritis
I had 2 falls involving my knee within 6 months. The most recent one involved me getting an xray and a ct scan. And being on sick for 3 months. The results showed I had osteoarthritis. I was told to take Paracetamol and ibrophen. These don't work. The pain has got worse in the last month. Not only my knee but sharp stabbing pains in the back of my ankle which come and go. The pain is constant under my knee and I struggle to walk. Could you give me some advice on what I can do

Good Morning @Mumof3 welcome to the online community.
I see you have a diagnosis of Osteoarthritis (OA) is in your knee and have been advised to take Ibuprofen and Paracetamol. It sounds as though you are still in a lot of pain and the Arthritis is affecting your mobility.
Has your GP suggested physiotherapy at all? Exercise can really make a difference to pain and mobility. In some areas it is possible to self-refer.
We do have some exercises here which you might find helpful and I am attaching some information about osteoarthritis of the knee too in case there is something useful you don't already know:
My best wishes
Ellen.
