Forgive me if I've asked this before. I've had IBS for 12 years. However, ever since my knee has been so painful and swollen it's really flared up. The GP doesn't think it's connected, but I'm not sure. Just wondered if others have had a similar experience. Does pain and inflammation affect your digestive system? I did read that those with rheumatoid arthritis can have digestive problems, but mine is definitely osteoarthritis.

Hello @Megrose489 I guess it is always possible but firstly I'd take a look at what medication you are taking as that could certainly affect your digestive system. Try talking to your pharmacist of the doctor won't help.
Hope you get it sorted soon
