Morning @Nanna8
I think you would be best to get in touch with your consultant or doctor and get expert advise😘
I was diagnosed with Pallindromic Rheumatoid Arthritis then was having severe pain in elbows and hands 9 months later I was diagnosed osteoarthritis by the consultant she said I had both which obviously I was not expecting but then given the next course of action to take in my new journey🤦♂️🤷♂️
Hopefully you have better news😘
Best wishes @Naomi33

Hi @Nanna8
Thank you for your posting on the online community. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing pain in your hips, shoulder and arm. We are unable to diagnose due to the fact that we are not medically trained and as Naomii33 has suggested would encourage you to see your GP for a diagnosis.
It is positive that you are trying Let's Move with Leon and also understand that exercising can be hard. You could ask your GP for a referral to a physiotherapist as they can tailor a programme of treatments, exercises and activities to meet your individual needs.
I have put some links below to our information that I hope may be helpful to you
Best Wishes

Hello all
2 years ago I was diagnosed with oesarthritis in both my knees and wrist .didn't think how serious this was so continued walking and doing excercise. Now I wondering how successful is having surgery on knees are.? Feeling discouraged because they say there is no cure and I Feel lost.

I was diagnosed 5 months ago and physio sent me exercises by Email I tried really hard doing them but I was in so much pain, I told him but he said well if you don't do them it will get worse, I felt that he wasn't interested.I now do move with Leon from this site very slowly but I suppose I'll get there. I understand how discouraged you feel, talk to your consultant and GP tell them how you feel and they should be able to give you advice. Stay well and I hope you feel better soon.

Hi @skyfall1
Thank you for posting on our Online forum, we are sorry to hear that you are feeling lost at the moment. Exercising is a very important part of managing your Osteoarthritis (OA) it will help to build up those muscles in the joints and help with the stiffness, it is also important to find that right balance between rest and exercise, start gradually and slowly build it up.
We unfortunately do not hold any statistics to how successful replacement surgery is but there is a lot of advantages in having this done, freedom from pain, improved mobility, improved quality of life because everyday activities and exercise are easier.
If you feel that this is the next step that you would like to take, then please speak to your Healthcare practitioner for further advice.
All the best for the future.
Best wishes

I'd definitely give Boron a go it has really helped my knees you can get it at Amazon or most health food shops I take 2x3mg per day.

I'm attaching a copy of our report on Complementary and alternative medicines. It has independent research evidence on a wide range of supplements. We don't have any evidence about Boron.

I hope that's helpful
