Just saying hello
Good morning folks, just been checking out some of your stories/questions/answers, thanks for posting, it's been interesting reading! I've just been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis by a Rheumatology specialist and was given "homework" to look at the Versus Arthritis website for information (so much, and so helpful), it's a lot to take in.
I was given an intramuscular steroid injection which immediately helped with my joint pain and stiffness issues, but 48hrs later I had red patches on my face and suffered extreme unexpected diarrhoea, which I think was an unusual reaction to the injection. This has made me feel a little apprehensive about other side effects as I've been prescribed Hydroxychloroquine plus Methotrexate and Folic acid.
I've appreciated reading some stories about honest experiences regarding joint pains, inflammation and other issues, and it's good to see your coping strategies/suggestions.
Looking forward to be Living Well With Arthritis 🙃 keep strong and stay safe!
