OA Flare up advice please

I am new to the group. I'm in unbelievable pain despite taking co codamol, naproxen and baclofen. I'm feeling really down. I'm meant to go on holiday next week but I can't see how I'll manage.

How long do flare ups last? What causes them?

    Welcome to the online community.

    I see from your post that you have are struggling with pain and about to go on holiday. I can see you already take quite a few medications, Is it possible to see your GP for some help to enable you to enjoy your holiday?

    In the meantime you are also wondering why osteoarthritis 'flares up' and why.
