methotrexate and abnormal liver function test
I have been on methotrexate for psoriatic Arthritis since mid November. Had blood tests done yesterday and just had a phone call from my GP asking me to make an appointment to discuss the liver function test. I am now really worried but cant get an appointment until 27th March.
Should I be worried about this.
Thanks for any help

Hi@pmcg1 Paula
Nothing to worry about, but you do want to do the following: leave a message on the Rheumatology Nurse Helpline Answerphone at the hospital that you attend for Rheumatology appointments. They normally ring you back within 2-3 working days. These nurses will know exactly what needs to happen and they will be able to take it from there.
If you don't know their number, just ring the main hospital number and ask them to give you the number (and keep it in your phone in case of any Rheumatology queries).
Methotrexate | Side-effects, uses, time to work (versusarthritis.org)
Psoriatic arthritis | Psoriatic arthritis | Causes, symptoms, treatments (versusarthritis.org)
I do hope that's helpful.
