Sitting comfortably to do something useful
I'm waiting for my second hip replacement and have trouble sitting comfortably to do anything useful. I can't stand for very long. It's worse than I remember from the previous hip. I've tried a coccyx cushion which didn't help. I have a memory foam wedge from Putnams which helps a bit but is too firm and makes my sitting bones (ischial tuberosities) uncomfortable. By the end of the day my bum is as sore as the hip. Even my recliner is uncomfortable. I was thinking about getting a piece of memory foam to put in that. The house is filling up with discarded cushions of various sorts. Any suggestions?

Afternoon @Crookrise sorry to hear your concerns.
Have you spoken to doctor or consultant for advice ???
I have bought every form of cushion/support/gadget but actually found the need support one very adaptable in other painful parts of my body as firm but soft if you know what I mean 🤷♂️👍
Best wishes @Naomi33
