Follow up appointment from THR

Hi, I am in my 8th week post op THR and still not heard anything regarding my follow up appointment with the consultant. I thought it was 6 weeks after is this normal timescale or should I chase up? Thanks

    You know I think these follow up appts are getting later and later. 8 weeks with no date yet is a while though.

    In your shoes I'd ring and check whether I've been lost in the system just in case and super politely.
