I WAS I DIAGNOSED with osteoarthritis keep going to docter when i cant walk pain killers i a,m waiting to see orthopaedic surgeon i was working full time now iam unemployed. i have applied for pip i am struggling financially
some days i am not able walk i am so afraid i will be refused pip any advice.

i dont see orthopaedic surgeon till 8 july i feel like a my body will break by then

hi @irishlady, I was diagnosed with OA in November 2023, I’ve not been given at date yet to see the specialist, my doctor signed me off last week for a month as my hip is so painful. He couldn’t believe I was still working. I was awarded PIP last month at the standard rate, it’s worth the paperwork and the phone interview, just fill in the paperwork and tell them how bad your OA is. Good luck. ☘️
