Hi -

Wondering if anyone has a saddle seat and whether they have felt the benefit for their Hips?

Thanks

    Hi @saslboo,

I don’t know anything about saddle seats and their benefits, but have you seen the Versus Arthritis article on what to look for in a chair?

    Best wishes,

    Anna

    hi @saslboo

do you have a health and safety department/officer? Before I retired the company replaced all chairs with something that was totally unsuitable for my arthritic neck. I had a word with the H & S officer and between the two of us we found something that suited me.

They do have a duty of care so they should help you - after all, it is in the best interests of the company to have you working rather than off sick!

If you have an Occupational Health Department they should recommend adjustments to meet your needs. My employer is providing me with a standing desk so I can alternate between standing and sitting. I have hip arthritis and can't sit for long periods.
