Communication of juvenile arthritis with children

Hi, my name is Abbie and I was diagnosed with arthritis at 8 years old, I am now 21 and completing my degree in genetics. As I was inspired to do this degree due to wanting to help others like myself I thought it would be fitting to use my final project on this topic. As a child I remember seeing a lot of leaflets to try to explain my condition to me that I wasn’t too interested in. Therefore, I am making a short children’s book with the aim of making it engaging for children to read with parents to help them make sense of it.

Hello @Abbie_Charlotte and welcome to the Community. I think making a children's book is a great way of helping children and parents.
