Ask the rheumatoid specialist nurse to give you a course of prednisone steroids to got with it, just until your rixitamab kicks in, mine kick in in about 4/6 weeks, they started my 10mg for 2 weeks, then knocked it down 2-5mg evey two weeks,

I’ve also just started Rituximab & equally so am in a lot of pain. I understand it can take 8-16 weeks to work, some longer. So I think this is a difficult period to get through. I have heard others have steroids to compensate, however I’ve not been offered. I had my second infusion only a couple of weeks ago so I’m trying to hold on. I hope things have improved for you now? I’m sorry to not have more reassurance. I think it’s worth noting we are more likely to refer to here when things are not so great. So maybe there’s lots of people who are reaping the benefits out there, & soon that’ll be us too. Best of wishes .
