Spring Booster 2024

Hi,

I've got RA (and so am on 25mg MTX, folic acid and 200mg hydroxychloroquine). I had my covid booster (Moderna) on Friday evening (so currently on a break from the MTX) and was really wiped out Sat/Sun/Mon (so spent most of it in bed). I battled through a day at work (fortunately it was quiet!) and just wondering if anyone else has been really wiped out this time (most of my others have been Pfizer)

    I had my booster last Wednesday. Thursday and Friday most of my known inflamed joints were aching and I had a blinding headache. I've never had a reaction like this from any of the covid vaccinations - I think the last 4 boosters I've had have been Moderna with the initial 5 covid vaccinations being Pfizer. I wonder if the vaccine has been tweaked to cover other variants of covid?

    Like you I'm now on a 2 week hiatus of MTX. Hope you get through it ok.
