Intro and cramps
Hello, I am new to this forum. I am 61 and have been diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in my knees, ankles and feet. I also have arthritis in my neck, shoulders and hands.
My knees are the most painful and often lock and feel as though they won't take my weight. But I also have incredibly painful cramps in my legs. The cramps keep me awake at night. I take Zapain for the arthritis and quinine for the cramps but I am still in constant pain. I use two sticks to walk but I struggle to keep mobile which is really frustrating. I am overweight and I am trying to lose weight but I wonder if anyone has any more advice on coping with the cramps.
Thank you!

Hello @Sucat and welcome to the Community. We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that will be your experience as well.
I haven't found anything on cramps and how to avoid them, they can be awful. Hopefully others will have some useful ideas which can help you. I've put a link in below to some info off our website on knee pain in the hope it might be useful.
Please keep posting and updated on how you are getting on.
Best wishes
Peter
