Running with midfoot osteoarthritis
I'm 43 and have had right midfoot osteoarthritis for 6 years. I've been a runner since I was 15, but I'm starting to struggle and am finding my distance and pace decreasing. I now have alot of tension in my right shoulder and find it difficult to relax my upper body (I presume this is my way of trying to deal with the pain). I'm thinking my running days may be coming to an end but I really don't want this. I have tried numerous different trainers which have made no difference.
My question is if anyone has any advice and if anyone else has experienced upper body tension when running due to foot osteoarthritis.
Thanks
