Burning feet

in Living with arthritis

Hi, I have OA in both hips and CPPD in my knees, the last few days the bottom of my feet have a burning feeling, does anyone else have this problem. Thanks in advance.

    I do sometimes too @HCAcomm1 I tend to soak them in tepid water or even roll my feet over a water bottle full of frozen water.

    If it gets really bad or doesn't settle it might be worth chatting to your GP in case there is anything they can suggest.

    It's quite miserable when your feet are so sore. I ended up seeing a podiatrist I think and having some insoles made which really helped, but rolling your feet over an iced water bottle (through socks though!) is bliss too.

    You might be walking funny if you know what I mean to avoid pain from the sore joints?

    an antalgic gait they call it.

    I have burning red feet sometimes but I have RA and Raynauds secondary I put my feet up and have seen podiatry for correct footwear etc
