SEPTIC ARTHRITIS
Hi folks,
My name is Gary,I have suffered from Arthritis in both knees since 2005.It has got progressively worse, and in January 2022 ,I was in extreme pain in my right knee,it wasn't the normal pain but off the scale. I was taken into hospital where I was diagnosed with septic arthritis, I had 5 open knee surgeries in the space of 4 months a long stay in hospital..the concern was it developed into osteomyelitis took sometime to clear the infection..its taken me 2 yrs to get some kind of mobility…
I am over weight which of course isn't helping ,I need Knee surgery but been told I have to lose weight.
Is there any advice out there where I can push for surgery…I'm fed up with my lack of mobility its so depressing.
