8 weeks after my left hip replacement I was progressing with my approved exercises when yesterday morning pain in my groin happened.it was so uncomfortable I took strong painkillers. I am not due to see my NHS doctor until next week, the ache is ongoing even lying down also going down to the knee. Has anyone had the same experience? Feeling very down

@tennisfan Sorry to hear about your groin pain. I think at eight weeks if you are worried and the pain doesn't ease soon that it is important you speak to your doctor/surgeon/physio and get it checked, just to be sure. I'm just over six months post replacement of my left hip and have had soreness in my groin occasionally which has turned out to be muscular from overdoing my walking/exercising but nothing too bad that lasted more than a day.

Hoping you're feeling better soon, and please let us know how you go on, take care.
