Hello @TerryBub and welcome to the Online Community. We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that will be your experience as well.

I've come across a lot of posts where people have pins and needles so it is not uncommon. can you GP/consultant offer anything else? I hope that others on here can give you help and share experiences. For myself I get them from time to time ever since years ago I had a back problem which caused me to get sciatica which in turn caused pins and needles in foot. So it is still lingering but for me doesn't last long. I just need to get moving. Are yours longer lasting?

Hope you find something that helps,

    Best wishes

    Peter

  • Hi @TerryBub,

Thank you for posting on the Helpline Online Community and sorry to hear about the problems
you've been experiencing with pins and needles in your foot.

As @noddingtonpete suggests, tingling and numbness can be a symptom of sciatica when bulging discs in the
spine press on a nerve root. However, it is best to check this out with your GP as NHS guidance suggests there can be other possible causes too.

I hope the following information is helpful to you:
