Numbness
Hello I have RA Just recently I have had a numbness in my foot
Also my foot goes into spasm I cannot move my foot at all it’s so painful and feels like it’s trying to contort my toes are sticking up and sometimes I cannot raise my foot up
Just wonder if you have any idea what this could be thanks

Sensations like numbness or tingling, itching or burning can sometimes be a sign of nerve pain. We'd suggest you speak to your Rheumatology Team or GP and see what they think.
Also as you are describing joints being very stiff you may want to ask one of your medical team to do a musculoskeletal examination, to see what is going on. If you are affected by any other conditions such as Osteoarthritis you may want to mention that to them.
For all arthritis conditions it is recommended to keep moving and do daily physiotherapy exercises for any of the joints affected by arthritis.
It is also recommended to eat a balanced diet rich in fruit and vegetables to keep weight down.
