Hello @jamesy and welcome to the Online Community. We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that will be your experience as well.

Arthritis can be scary but you are now among friends who will provide support and share experiences, we are all here for each other. I would also recommend having a look at our website if you haven't already done so as it contains a lot of useful information about arthritis, treatments and hints and tips, I've put a couple of links below which might be of interest.

    and

Please keep posting and let us know how you are getting on.

    Best wishes

    Peter

Hi I’m also new here and just signed up today. I was diagnosed 12 years ago (I’m now 47) and have severe rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis which has now also given me osteo. I’ve had a couple of surgeries and am now waiting my next one which is a trapeziectomy on my left thumb (sorry I’ve prob spelt that wrong!)

Just wanted to say hi and introduce why I’m here! 😊

    Hi @ZoeRoll ,

Sorry it’s a bit late, but just wanted to give you a warm welcome to the online community. I hope you’ve had a browse through the posts and found others who have experiences that you can relate to or you find interesting. Do join in any conversations or ask questions where you feel comfortable - I’m sure you’ll be most welcome.

You might find the the Versus Arthritis fact sheet on trapeziectomy useful ( you did spell it right!)
