New to this
Hello I came across this page on Instagram and I thought I'd give it a whirl. I am an arthritis sufferer . OA in my Hands and big toes . Painful every day. I have cortisone injections in my toes but they are wearing off a lot quicker now. I work 12 hour shifts in a challenging environment so any advice on how to manage the condition would be greatly appreciated. I need my toes fusing but it's not an option for a while

Good morning @gazben welcome to the online community.
12 hours shifts (on your feet?) with painful toes does not sound comfortable at all. Another member @Fleurie was also discussing her big toe Osteoarthritis recently.
Have you read this?
Footwear is the other suggestion I have
Not knowing your job it may be that you have to wear particular shoes in your job of course.
I'll leave you now hopefully some of our members will come along and share their own experience.
Best wishes
Ellen.

Hi @gazben a quick hello and welcome to you from me too. I have no useful advice just wanted to say hello really.
I hope you'll find the community as supportive as I have over the years.
Sorry to read that you are getting diminishing returns from your steroid jabs. I take it you can't spare the time off work to get those toes fused yet?
Have you tried orthotics at all yet? Just a though it you haven't or even asking for some help at work? A seated job transfer for instance?
