Just found this group which is great! Feeling quite fed up with newly diagnosed osteoarthritis in hip! Can't walk properly or do the things I've been used to! Feeling my life has become so limited!!!! Feel better to be able to share this.....

Hello @lynglynn  and welcome to the Community. We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that will be your experience as well.

I was diagnosed with hip arthritis a few years ago and have since had a hip replacement. I can fully understand the way you feel but do try and be positive. So many of us in this community have been through the same and come out the other side!

I sympathise entirely with your new diagnosis - I hope you've been referred to further investigations and treatment rather than left to your own devices? I am 9 weeks post new hip and know precisely what you're going through before I had surgery.

There are lots of threads on here by members (including me) who have recently had hip surgery, run a search and read through some of them.

If you have any questions or need some advice, please shout out.
