Inflamed Sacroilliac joint
Hi everyone, not posted before and wondered if any of you lovely people could help, I have enteropathic arthritis and uc, I'm really struggling with an inflamed Sacroilliac joint,I've had it for months I can't walk very far and am In a lot of pain I've also 7 weeks ago had a shoulder replacement so am limited to what excersises I can do like putting pressure on the arm, getting up and down off the floor etc any ideas to get rid of this pain would be amazing thank you

I get intermittent bouts of pain from my right sacroiliac joint which is caused by my psoriatic arthritis according to my rheumatologist. I was prescribed lidocaine patches - funnily enough initially for my shoulder when I had a supraspinatus tendon tear when my PsA first erupted - and found they have worked for me for my SI joint pain. When the pain starts I've found that usually a five day application of the patches helps calm things down. They are prescription only and are expensive to the NHS at £75 for a box of 30 so some GPs are not too keen on prescribing them.
