Hi @anxioussarah - I know you can buy compression socks in pharmacies and also in the airport.
Perhaps someone else can advise you on specific brands that are best.

Two things
- Where are you flying to? My surgeon told me no long haul fligjts for six months.
- Get medical advice on fhe suitability of compression socks. There are arguments for and against and best to get it right so soon after a THR.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

@anxioussarah They are easy to buy but not so easy to get on and off!! I don't wear compression socks for short haul flights but I have just googled it and it seems it is advisable to wear them for any flight after a hip op. It is only in recent years that I have worn for long haul flights and spent about 10 minutes in the toilets in Sydney airport trying to get them off.
I think I was also told no long haul for about 6 months but short haul (6 hours or less) is OK after 3 months.
Where are you going? Enjoy your holiday.
