    Hi @Stevie63

Welcome to the Online Community! We are happy to have you here.

While I have no personal experience with specifically osteoarthritis, many of our members and moderators do. So while you are waiting to hear from someone with experience, I have linked some information and tips below about osteoarthritis.

I hope this helps you or gives you some insight for now.

Hi I was suffering with pain in my groin and knee. Ive had X-rays and MRI before I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my hip and spine although I'm not getting any pain from my back. The pain in my knee is just wear or referred pain not osteoarthritis. I'd ask your GP for a more accurate diagnosis.

@Stevie63 my advice is that the pain is going to change (it already has), so get to know what affects the pain and how big is the affect, so you can nurse it more easily.

Obviously right now the physio is affecting it, in a way that real life wasn't, so it is a great chance to see if you can determine which part of the physio is rubbing you up the wrong way.

H I Stevie, I was diagnosed with Ost/Arthritis in my left knee and I was given 2 elastic bands, one blue and the green. If this is standard exercise practise you position the bands under the sole of the foot and pull both ends of the elastic bands and bend your knee a number of times. I did this even as you have found out,it's painful. They just want you to keep supple.
