Arthrosamid injections

hi everyone, I’m new to this site and unfortunately looks like my RA that’s been very quiet is rearing it’s ugly head, that together with osteoarthritis too it seems . I wonder if anyone has had or knows about this Arthrosamid injection for osteoarthritis? I’ve managed to get myself a free spot to listen to a presentation about it at the Spire Hospital Wrexham , the wonders of Facebook advertising. But it would be useful to know if NHS covers it, I couldn’t see anything on Dr Google . Unfortunately I hurt my knee doing sport and seems I have a few issues , swelling which won’t go down ! is one. Fingers crossed for X-ray to know exactly what’s going on and an appointment with Rhumy consultant next week . Seriously hope I’m not starting the path onto methotrexate, happy with hydroxychlorquine . Just want my life back , 3 months on …..Sorry for the ramble , it kinda has pushed my question out, so, if anyone knows of this injection I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Sorry to hear that your RA is flaring up again, after a period of stability. Arthrosamid injections aren’t available on the NHS but only through private practioners. Some people have reported good results, although not everyone, and I believe the cost of the injections is quite high.
