Corn on the side of big toe

Hi there,
Can any advise on problems with corns on the side of their toes please? I have a sore corn on the side of my big toe. This is due to the changing shape of my toes which is, I am suspecting the onset of osteoarthritis (OA) in the feet. I have had OA in my hips, knees and back for a while now due to having Long Covid. I have seen a podiatrist and they suggested it was due to the way I was walking so he issued me some orthotics. However the corn he treated at the time is a stubborn beast as it keeps coming back especially after exercise. Any advice would be much appreciated; thank you.
