Adalimumab ankles swelling

I have just had my second injection I have felt well unlike when I take methotrexate fine and have been ok except my ankles have started swelling I have been to see GP who wasn’t worried and the nurses at RUH said not heard of that side effect before and as long as I am not short of breath to monitor the situation, so wondered has anyone else had a similar side effect Thank you ☺️

    Sorry to hear your concerns with Adalimumab and swelling ankles.

    I personally have no experience of this and have been offered Adalimumab as an alternative to Methotrexate as this did not suit me.

    If you are not happy I would persist with your doctor / nurse further for reassurance.

    Thank you Naomi my Gp and consultant are monitoring me I haven’t got on with methotrextrate but I have to still take it with adalimumab to see if they can get my symptoms under control, will see how I go and hope you improve on the adalimumab Take care 😊x
