RSVVaccine

I have just been called for the above vaccine. Has anyone else had this. I am on methotrexate, aladimumab, blood pressure tabs, blood thinner tabs and folic acid and lanzarople. Has anyone had this vaccine. My concern is that my GP and Rheum Consultant don’t always converse so not sure who to confirm this with. Notification came from GP surgery. Thank you. Hope you are all well.

    Hi @Teapot

Unfortunately I can't advise on this however you should maybe call the Rheumatology team and check with them before you get it. I agree, sometimes the two don't communicate well with each other so best to be sure!

    Hi @Teapot

There doesn't appear to be any clear guidance on this jab - I have Asthma and Bronchiecstasis and nothing I've seen tells me that I should have it despite my chronic lung conditions. My GP surgery is about as much use as a chocolate tea pot!

I get mine next week. I think only Scotland is offering it. I take most of your meds(!) but I'm happy to go ahead.

If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thanks everyone. Think I will contact rheumatology team as they are the ones who prescribed the 2 biologics. The text I got today from my GP surgery gives me 7 days to reply ! Not sure why this time limit is on. Have a good evening
