Hello, People think i need to get a grip, with my grief , but not that easy at times. Esp when the weather isnt nice & then joints are so stiff & sore. & anxiety knocks at the door. There is no way i am having another op as i am beyond terrified of The NHS. I have a failed hip replacement as i had no care package on returning home in 2015 & had to care for my then Husband. He had a care package. But me no i had to get on with things & really struggled. Now i am going the Holistic route, with Reflexology, & Reiki & crystal healing & Massage & sound therapy all good therapys & doing chair yoga as well & relaxation as well. regards Amanda Harrison

hello Amanda sorry to hear you are grieving and trying to manage with so many things. Not sure what you are suggesting when you say you need to get a grip with your grief. Sounds like being kind and patient with yourself may be a more gentle way of helping with all you are coping with.

We each need to find our own way with our different conditions. I’m sorry to hear your 2015 experience was so difficult for you. It could help talking to your GP/physio/consultant so they understand how things were for you then and how things could potentially be different this time around.

In the meantime enjoy all that your holistic approach brings and, if possible, add exercise in as well. Take great care

Hi thank you for your message. Until i can learn to relax a lot more as i have severe Anxiety no operation will help. As its beyond very dangerous to operate on tense muscles. so i just need to continue the way i am & pace myself. yes i exercise as much as i can but have to be safe as well Thank you kind regards Amanda Harrison
