I finally had my meeting with the orthopaedic surgeon. The news was good, I don’t have to have to have a knee replacement! He said I am far too good to need one, which was nice to hear. I am getting an injection next week, have to have physio and he wants me to take glucosamine for three months. Having worried about it since June, it was such a relief to know that I won’t be out of action for up to three months. My husband was so delighted that he booked us on a dance break in November 😀

Good luck with your steroid injection @Socialdancer I really hope it helps you loads and you are able to stave off surgery for some time to come.

Have a great break in November by which time you ought to have had your jab 😊

    Take care
