Hi everyone I'm taking lactose and it seems to be working lol. I have decided to ring my manager tomoz to tell her I'm leaving due to illhealth. My xray made me realise I have to think of myself from now on. I will hopefully next year maybe work in a shop. We will see what happens.

Hi I have left work today due to illhealth. My manager was understanding. So now I'm trying to claim universal credit. Fingers crossed.

Hello @susy123
I think the path to recovery is not always a straight line, but sounds like you are doing the right things. Here is a link about financial support for you. Have you got a citizens advice in your area? If so it is well worth booking an appointment as they will be able to support you in your benefit claims. With regard to feeling upset about your friends comments, it has been my experience that even the people that are most important to you unwittingly say things that hurt. It's up to you to decide if you can let it go and move on, given some time when you are feeling better it might not matter so much.
best Joanne.

Hi Suzy. Am sorry to hear about your struggles and your friend's comment wouldn't help either. As well as arthritis I have M.E. and I have had to put up with some nasty comments in my time connected with that, from friends who should have known better. So I do understand how you feel. With hindsight I wish I had made my feelings known to my friends that I did not like what they said. Instead I just let it go. But then it kind of churns away inside of you which isn't good. So my advice would be to just tell your friend you didn't think her comment was helpful at this time, and that she could have been a bit more sensitive to your struggles. If she is a genuine friend she will accept that and apologise.

Hi thanks for both your comments about my friend. She leaves me behind and walks ahead of me. It's so annoying treating me like this especially when I always there for her.

I'm very constipated again and have no appetite that's why I'm losing weight. I having now to take lactulose and movicol. I know it's not a good combination.
