New to the group
Hi Everybody hope you are all feeling well today. First of all thank for allowing me to join your community. I was diagnosed in 2017 with RA where I had numerous test to diagnose and I felt lost. I was given methotrexate and sulphazine but due to complications methotrexate was replaced by hydroclixinye and steroid injections. I have suffered really bad with pain in every joint and muscle that 8 weeks ago I ended in A&E. I have lots of medical problems so ristricted on pain relief. I saw my RA nurse whom after speaking with my consultant decided to put me on the Biologics Benepali drugs injected with a pen at home once a week. I have had 2 doses at present and my pain is easing so hopefully after a few more it will be under control. My advise to anybody recently diagnosed if you have bad flare ups please contact your team dont let it go on until you cannot move like I did thinking it will go away. Sorry for long post and any spelling errors fingers seem to do own thing. Xx
