Bowen therapy

The last couple of weeks I have had 2 physio treatments on my hips and knees prescribed by my Dr at our local clinic, some of it was quite good but the pressure point on my right hip hurt quite a bit, so I am thinking that I might get my son to do a few Bowen Therapy treatments before I have to go to hospital, as he is a Bowen Practitioner and teacher of Bowen, its a much gentler treatment, it doesn't cure bone on bone, but helps with pain.

Was wondering if anyone else has tried Bowen therapy.

    Hi @violet46

Bowen therapy has been discussed/mentioned before here is a search I've done for you:

I see from your post that your own son is a practitioner so it wouldn't cost you anything financially.

If you do decide to try it please do let us know how you get on.

    Ellen.

Thank you Ellen for the information,

Our Son has been a Bowen therapist for 15 years, 9 of those as a teacher, he cured my Frozen shoulder a few years ago and his Dads Tennis elbow, it works for us, and Bowen Therapy should not be painful.

I had a full body Bowen Therapy treatment years ago,and it is quite relaxing.

It is being used all over the world now,and I believe it can be claimed on medical benefits in some countries, its best to have a fully qualified therapist though.
