Sleep
Does anyone have useful tips to get a comfortable night's sleep?
Last night, I struggled to get comfortable which resulted in a poor sleep. So, today (1st day of half-term holidays) I am so tired 😴

@Dutch50 once I noticed that sleep patterns, such as deep sleep, vary every night as if they are self adjusting, I was less worried about sleep. Also when I noticed that a full sleep cycle is quite short, only a few hours. I was happy to get up for an hour for a hot chocolate or something, and then go back to bed to catch up the rest.
I haven't done this for a long time because work seems to force a short sleep in the week, but at the weekend I just crash out whenever to catch up, and do feel quite refreshed by Monday.

@Dutch50 I've found a huge benefit in a raised orthopedic pillow that takes all the pressure off my back. It's a little odd sleeping in a more sat up position but I can't knock it. A pillow under my knees (or between them if I'm on my side) also is great for discomfort in my hips. And on the odd days my neck is killing me a travel neck pillow works a treat 😁
What was uncomfortable for you if you don't mind me asking?

Mainly my knee, but at night can be hips too

For your knees I'd definitely recommend a support, can be anything you find comfortable such as a pillow or folded blankets. It's not everyone's favourite but I found sleeping on your back is more comfortable on hip joints.
