Hello
Just joined, I am 84 yrs old and have developed Arthritis in my hands over the years. Recently after a walk I tore my meniscus ligament and unable to bear weight went to see the Doc who has advised the knees are badly affected with Arthritis which I sort of knew anyway.
I am now seeing a physio who has given me exercises to do and after a couple of months I am once again able to walk short distances without pain and with aid of a stick.
Looking forward to interacting with other who have similar

hello @harryeyeWelcome to the community! Happy to have you here 😊.
I'm glad to hear that you are now able to walk without pain with the assistance of your stick! I am in a somewhat similar situation with arthritis in my hands/feet also using a stick, but have never torn a ligament - that must have been difficult!
Hopefully, more people will come along and also share their similar experiences but in the meantime I have attached some links which may interest you.

Thank you so much for the welcome and the links, I am getting some exercises from my NHS physio but will certainly explore the ones you linked.

Something I read once in the readers digest book of the human body (books are useful sometimes) was the body finds ways to make things work. Its a marvel. A blood vessel breaks, the body grows new ones. Do take care and be patient.
