Arthritis exercises

I have lost 4 stone but need to lose another 1 1/2 stone to get to BMI 35 to have total knee replacement I walk a lot I have no car but the exercises the physio gave me the day after doing them I'm in a lot of pain will this get better should I still do them life so hard with this pain can anyone advise

    Fantastic work losing the weight, it's not easy.

    We have a great surgery toolkit with exercises you could try, we normally say some discomfort is normal but if your in pain you should probably discuss this with the physio directly.

    Have you got a follow up appointment with the physiotherapist? If not, then request one. Your exercise regime may need some tailoring to suit you better.
