I found out about this research project back in April of 2024 when I was unwell with suspected covid variant. I was just at the point of deciding to have an Arthosamid injection but thought I would investigate the trial. I contacted the Department and they arranged to get MRI scans from 1 year earlier. I was contacted after 2 weeks and invited up to see consultant in charge for discussion after having been sent all relevant information and was accepted onto trial and had procedure done on September 9th. Procedure took 1 hour and was painless although not allowed to drive for 5 days due to entry point in groin needing to recover. Dont know whether I have had Placebo or real treatment (micro plastic Balls) but will find out after 6 months. Since procedure I have not taken any paracetamol or ibuprofen and have started physical activities so fingers crossed and watch this space.
