Painkillers
I went through most prescription painkillers as I have arthritis in all my fingers and both wrists, aswell as fibromyalgia.
Most tablets have worse side affects or caused me severe constipation. The only tablet I can tolerate now is Tramadol. Which seems to be easing my pain but I keep my dosage low as terrified of addiction to them.

Hello @Simmo
Here is a link to a read about how to manage your pain. There are other options which may compliment oral painkillers, so it is worth thinking about. I'm thinking about hot/cold therapy, exercise and mindfulness. I have chronic pain and find these practices helpful, like yourself I've run out of oral painkiller options really!
If your local pharmacy/chemist is a good one, might be a good idea to ask to speak to the pharmacist to see if they can advise about the concerns you have about becoming addicted to the medication.
There's a VA online support group for people with fibromyalgia, here is the link.
