Hi, Has anyone on Methotrexate and Imraldi experienced an alteration to their mood/increased irritability.

I am generally a super chilled individual, but now. I’m easily annoyed and reportedly very grumpy.

Welcome @1918 to the online community,

I cannot say whether the medication combination is the cause of your mood swings but from my own experience the level of my tiredness contributes considerably to my mood. It is a big learning curve coming to terms with the diagnosis of arthritis and also educating one's body and mind to adjust to the vagaries of the disease. The boom and bust pattern of fatigue is challenging and it may be this balance that you need to look at as well as the medication. Maybe talk to your arthritis nurse or your local pharmacist for their advice.

Meanwhile I attach a link to fatigue which I hope will be helpful.

    hi @1918

I suffered terribly with mood changes while on methotrexate. My rheumatologist said it affected the mental state of men in particular but they don’t know why. In the end I asked for a change to the next thing. It made me an emotional wreck to be honest.
