I’m just being considered for another drug, Amgevita (Adalimumab), after suffering side effects from the others. Any comments from other arthers?
I am a zero negative Inflamatory arther.

It’s a grin, honest!

    hi @Airwave!

When you say the others - do you mean other DMARDs or other Adalimumab ?

I very much rate Adalimumab - it’s been a life saver for me. Little to no side effects save for a little bit of tiredness in the week I take it.

    Hi @Airwave!

I've been on Amgevita since the end of July 2021. It's made a significant difference to me. When I was first put on it I couldn't close my hands and could only walk using elbow crutches. After 2 months I was able to hand back my crutches. I'm not cured by any means but I am able to walk my dog 50-60kms a week. Amgevita was added to the sulfasalazine and methotrexate I was already on - which hadn't worked. My consultant says the 3 drugs work synergetically - the sum is greater than the drugs individually. Apparently it's not uncommon for the patients body to produce antibodies and I've been tested a couple of times in the last 3 years when I've had flares but they've found I haven't done so.

I hope it works for you.
