Stomach pain and JIA.

hi all, I’m feeling very stuck and confused. My daughter has had stomach pains for the last 3 weeks. They are getting worse and keeping her up at night. She’s had a stool test and blood test but we haven’t heard anything back yet.

The doctors suspect ibd as it’s linked to JIA. Has anyone’s kids had the same and what was the outcome? How did the ibd progress? What was your treatment plans like and what were your kids symptoms? How are they now? IBD runs in my family and it looks scary in the adults who have it. Most of them are still in hospital regularly. It would be great to hear from other parents in my situation.

Hi, welcome to the community, @taljinder01. I'm so sorry to hear that you and your daughter are experiencing this. Unfortunately, I don't have any advice/knowledge to give on this subject, but hopefully someone else who does will come along. I wish you the best of luck and encourage you to keep us updated on your daughter's progress.

Sending you my best wishes as I have been there with a poorly child (mind have leukaemia) the sense of helplessness is just so awful as a parent.
