Just had a visit with a different doctor to have an injection in my knee & told him that it didn't work in my worst knee for longer than a wk pain-free, edge off 2nd wk, pain bck 3rd wk & that the naproxen wasn't touching the pain even with extra paracetamol through the day & not sleeping longer than 2hrs at a time before having to move from the pain. He's taken me off naproxen & given me amitriptyline & co-codamol to try instead. Anyone tried it?
