Daughter diagnosed with Fibromyalgia
Hello everyone
I’ve only just joined as my daughter was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia a few days ago. I’m trying to learn as much as I can online but I value talking to real people with real experiences, I’d learn far far more that way.
I’ve not seen any other fibromyalgia posts so far so I’m wondering if there are other people here who have it? Any advice would be so very appreciated.
Thank you x

I see you’ve posted to the Helpline Team, and I know they’ll respond tomorrow with some useful information about living with fibromyalgia for you and your daughter, I just wanted to welcome you to the online community and post the experience of two of our younger members who living with the condition:
It’s hard to be a Mum and see your child in pain, but your approach to learn all about your daughter’s condition so that you can best support her is a very powerful move. If you or your daughter are interested, there’s an online support group run by Versus Arthritis that you might like to visit. Its on hold for a few months, but there’s a contact number that you can call to find out whether it’s suitable for you.
Best wishes to you both,
Anna ( Moderator)
