Pain in more than one joint
Fed up today. When it hurts to walk, I am less motivated to do things. My knee had been the main issue but now my hip hurts too (both on the left). Back to physio in 12 days whilst I'm waiting for my orthopaedic appointment to come through!!

Hi @Dutch50
Sorry you are in a lot of pain. I would suggest painkillers and also trying to move about even once an hour just so you don't stiffen up. You could even try doing some light physio exercises whilst sitting. Just don't overdo it!
Here are some exercises you could try, there are booth sitting and lying down ones as well as standing (if you are able.)
Exercises for the knees | Versus Arthritis
Exercises for the hips | Versus Arthritis
Hope this helps a little

Yes, pain, and not being able to do as much, is a pretty good recipe for feeling fed up.
And then a choice of painkiller to regain some mobility and strength, or sometimes not painkiller, to be sure where the pain is, so it can be gently nursed along until it is relieved.

I have pain in more than one joint, i.e. both wrists, both knees, one foot and neck. Anyone know what is the best drug to take to stop these flare-ups?
